I am eye, M’s left eye, and this is my story.
In the light of recent events, I want to clarify that I’m not adopted, even if it appears that way. Accidents can happen to anyone.
I’m generally taken good care of, overall. I can’t help being weaker than my brother, the right eye, in terms of sight. Couldn’t help the minor surgery a few years ago. So, you can’t hold these against either me. Or M.
Then, there were a couple of instances when a dust particle tried to mess with me (cornea fight and all that, you know) but I sure showed him! And protected my dear, green-lenses-gal. M can verify this – she still trusts me better than my brother when she has to put in the contacts!
The recent mishap was purely accidental. And quite embarrassing and funny, mostly because the physics is a little hard to explain. I mean, you will laugh, ROFL-type, if you hear the full version. How do you explain how a – pipe? stick? – hit you out of the blue?
Ow!
The pain and the swelling: not at all funny. It was unbelievably excruciating, I tell you!
But M was smart about it. She immediately took me to the hospital and had the really nice doctors check me out (wink wink). And then, she has taken particular care to rest me at intervals and make me take my meds on time. Her parents were a big help in this regard.
This is M’s left eye signing out.

Very creative!
Thank you! you are too kind, sir!
